As we enter Phase 2 of California’s Resilience Roadmap, Eureka’s top priority is the safety and well-being of our citizens, visitors, and businesses. We can’t do this alone, so we encourage you to review the Eureka: Together We Can guidelines, our shared commitment to help keep each other healthy. By following the recommended public health guidelines and showing our respect for our environment and the people around us, we can minimize the spread of COVID-19. Together, we can take the precautions necessary for all of us to stay safe.
The guidelines follow recommendations from the CDC and public health officials and help us create an environment for safety while we enjoy the experiences that make Eureka great.

In response to COVID-19, the best guidance is to continue to take personal responsibility for your safety by avoiding large groups, following facial covering requirements, and maintaining a 6-foot distance from others. For the latest COVID-19 updates, please reference California’s news and updates and more locally, the Humboldt Health Alert.
Eureka restaurants are now able to begin serving in their dining rooms and patio areas, with staff and customer safety front and center. Please keep in mind that opening procedures and offerings differ from restaurant to restaurant. Many openings are in progress. For the most current information, also check the restaurant’s listings and official website or social media.
