The Eureka Chapter of The NAACP & Black Humboldt invites everyone to join us in celebrating Juneteenth 2020. This virtual Juneteenth celebration is an all-day, community-wide, event celebrating freedom, diversity, and community. Featuring local POC vendors, workshop facilitators, music, art performances, and more! Juneteenth is a national holiday, commemorating the ending of slavery in the United States. This holiday is important and empowering for Black and Brown communities in Humboldt County, as we are a very small percentage of the county's population and it is important to celebrate Black History, as we create safe spaces and representation for POCs.
